In this talk, I will sketch the motivation for endorsing some variety of moral intuitionism to explain foundational moral beliefs.
I will then raise a problem for the standard ways of understanding the value of intuitions, arguing that virtue must play a more prominent role than it otherwise has. So refined, I argue that moral intuitionism favors some normative theories over others, especially intuitively-conservative theories like Natural Law.
